Vincent J. Cebula
Mr. Cebula has over 25 years of experience as a private equity and distressed debt investor as well as a financial advisor specializing in leveraged finance, M&A and investment banking. Mr. Cebula has been involved in the investment of over $1.6 billion in the equity and distressed debt of 25 middle market companies and has represented his firms on one creditors' committee and 11 corporate boards of directors. Prior to co-founding Solace, Mr. Cebula was with Jefferies Capital Partners as a Managing Director, focusing on investments in the middle market. During his five-year tenure, Mr. Cebula was actively involved in investment banking and several restructuring and proprietary debt investments. Prior to Jefferies, Mr. Cebula was Managing Director at Trust Company of the West/Oaktree Capital Management and one of the original four senior members of Oaktree's Principal Opportunities Funds, which focus on private equity and distressed debt investments.
Mr. Cebula began his career as an investment banker at Drexel Burnham Lambert advising clients on acquisition and recapitalization financings. He later worked as a finance professional for Brooke Group Ltd., a publicly traded company actively involved in purchasing and restructuring troubled businesses. Mr. Cebula graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics. He currently serves as an Independent Manager on the Board of Managers of Intrepid Aviation Group Holdings, LLC, a portfolio company jointly owned by Centerbridge Partners and Reservoir Capital Group. Mr. Cebula is a member of the board of Permian Tank & Manufacturing.
